A mountain of snow

That increased your pride
They lived in glory
Your children and elders

The first thing the moon
Kissed your rocks
Like diamonds
Your light shone

On the hilltop
Raising its hands to the sky
To pray

To the Lord
May He keep you
High in your Lebanon
Protected from your enemies

O mountain, may you remain
With a spear in my hand
And burning in their hearts

In the hearts of your enemies
May this spear sink
And may the flag remain
In your sky fluttering

.. O flag of the Muslim
Christian and Druze
For this mountain live
So, our cedar will live too.
